CPS Class in Springfield

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CPS TRAINING PROGRAM
• Age is 18 or over
• A high school diploma or a GED or HiSET certificate
• History of psychiatric diagnosis, or experience with emotional distress or trauma resulting in significant life disruption
• Willingness to share recovery story

This DMH Metro Boston Area “May is Mental Health Month” event features an afternoon panel of those who have devoted themselves to the success of the Massachusetts peer workforce, including The Transformation Center’s Executive Director, Deborah Delman.

A morning panel features administrators, including Stephanie Brown from MassHealth.

MassPRA Honors Marnie Fougere

Congratulations Marnie!

The Massachusetts Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (MassPRA) has chosen Marnie Fougere, Deaf Recovery Project Coordinator at The TC, to receive the 2018 Isaiah Uliss Advocacy Award.

This award honors Marnie’s lifetime work in the Deaf community on behalf of those who also have a mental health conditions.

The ceremony is being held at MassPRA’s annual meeting April 9, registration is closed.
