Valeria Chambers, Jonathan Delman and Benjamin Cook attended the Health Affairs Briefing March 5at the National Press Club, Washington DC.  Jon presented the research article they co-authored:

Barriers And Facilitators To Community-Based Participatory Mental Health Care Research For Racial And Ethnic Minorities



The March 2019 issue of “Health Affairs” contains an expansive look at consumers’ perceptions of and perspectives on their role in the health care system.  Areas examined include patient engagement in choosing plans, providers, and treatment; payment and benefit models that encourage and support consumer participation; and consumer roles in research, organization, and governance of the health care system.

Valeria is the Blacks United in Recovery Organizer and Community Voice Policy & Research Coordinator at The Transformation Center.

At “Recovery Outloud” we share the richness of our lived experiences, learn with and from each other, and connect with one another through peer support.  This is an interactive training based on self-determination, authenticity and fun that can foster personal growth through a variety of group exercises.

December 6, Thursday 12:00 midnight is the deadline to schedule your interview for the Winter 2019 CPS Training Program.  Classes will be held in Chelmsford starting January 2019.

Go to CPS webpage for eligibility and a link to schedule your interview using the CPS Portal.

Already have an interview scheduled?  December 6 is also the deadline for ONLINE submission of your Application and Letters of Reference.   Links and instructions in your interview confirmation email.    You may also bring these to your interview.
